There a several reasons why people come to my workshops and tours. Aside from photography, these are social events for photographers. And it depends on the needs of the group and individual clients. Software interpretations, how to see, what to look for, workflow, making friends, feeling safe in a group environment, being taken to locations […]

I have just done an interview with Better Photography India. India’s most popular photography magazine. The theme was astro-photography. The image they chose to publish was a shot taken on Lake Eyre amidst a very large storm front. This particular image was a finalist in the Astro Photography Competition last year in the UK. See […]

Late last year I was approached by a Professor at Western Sydney University inviting me to contribute a chapter in a book that is currently underway called the Handbook of Women and Outdoor Learning. I was a bit dubious about writing a chapter. I actually thought to myself what have I got to offer that […]

If you want to be inspired, educated and invigorated by a professional photographer Julie Fletcher is the women you need to know. The betterment of our photography is her first priority and her excellent people skills enables her to recognise our strengths and weaknesses. We have just returned from our second value for money workshop in Marree fired up and totally enthused. I made great new likeminded friends and of course enjoyed the epitome of outback hospitality with Lyall’s huge personality, generous nature and amazing catering skills. Love the new face book group and really really love that you have written the process for processing the image above it for us to review as it will help no end and save my sanity when I get to have a play. I can't stop thinking about the gear you have selflessly shared with us. I just need to have a crack now. Thanks again

Testimonial Marree Lake Eyre Workshop August 2017 I can't recommend this workshop highly enough. The locations were all challenging and varied greatly in their nature. Lake Eyre was simply breathtaking and, for me, the intro to astrophotography was a real highlight. Julie encouraged us to stretch ourselves creatively, supporting us with plenty of help re possible approaches to shots. As a result, I came away from the workshop having really learnt something, both in terms of photographic technique and in terms of image creation. Add to that the whole Marree experience, which was simply great fun, and the workshop is one I would recommend to any photographer interested in creating better landscape images.

We loved out 3 magic prints of the Flinders and have them proudly hanging in our lounge room and get comments all the time from our visitors. This metal chromaluxe finish is just amazing so light and way to hang and we love the way it sits off the wall. Its so stylish and fresh and just amazing to look at. We love it so much thankyou.
