Australian Geographic ANZANG nature awards August 2017

Dated: 23 August 2017

For 2 years in a row I have managed to take out 2 categories for a win. In 2016 it was landscape and botanical and this year it was landscape and the portfolio prize which is what I was trying for. The first in the landscape category was a bonus. Unfortunately I was just about to start my Flinders Tour when the presentation night was on and could not make it down to the SA National Museum but I had my friend Paula go down and grab some photos and video for me. I got bombarded with phone calls from the ABC wanting interviews and said no to all apart from one Annette Marner from regional SA as she always supports me and was happy to wait until I finished my tour. My 6 images are now part of the exhibition which is currently in the SA National Museum on display and then travels all around Australia throughout the year. Do yourself a favour and go and have a look at the great work people are doing you wont be disappointed.
